Location and Commute
Kresston sits in Magnolia, Texas - Montgomery County. That means no city income taxes, Montgomery County property tax rates (generally lower than Harris County), and Magnolia ISD schools. For buyers comparing Kresston to communities in Harris County or incorporated cities, the tax difference can mean $2,000-$4,000 per year in savings at comparable home prices.

A Houston-founded private builder with a strong floor plan design reputation. They build at a slightly higher price point but hold value well. David Weekley's website lists current plans, though incentive data is rarely current there.
Gracepoint Homes
Smaller Texas builder that doesn't get as much press as Highland or Perry, but competitive on lot size and standard features in the $400K-$550K range.
Highland Homes
Most active at Kresston for incentives in our current tracking. Their energy packages are among the best in Texas production building, and they build on pier-and-beam in some sections. The generator promotion and closing cost packages active at their other communities apply here as well.
Westin Homes

Pricing at Kresston
Base pricing runs from approximately $360,000 to $750,000 across all builders. The $400K-$550K range has the most inventory and the most builder competition - your best leverage zone. If one builder won't move, another often will.
